The wisdom of a rested body
The wisdom of
a rested body
I have seen many people who are dealing with an overstimulated central nervous system. And honestly, it’s hard to NOT be overwhelmed during these times.
You’ve probably developed your own clever ways of coping with the constant pressure and overload you carry on your shoulders. From the outside it would be impossible to tell that you’re feeling overwhelmed. And for a while, these strategies seem to work. But eventually, the body starts to communicate that it’s simply too much.
And that’s actually a good thing. Your body is trying to help you. The challenge is that we’ve become incredibly skilled at ignoring or suppressing these signals.
Healing
Your nervous system is asking for space.
It needs safety and regulation. And this is how it’s trying to communicate it to you. You feel overwhelmed by your to-do list. You feel like you keep pushing past your own limits. You experience a kind of freeze that makes it hard to get things off the ground, or notice that you struggle to make choices that truly align with you (from life choices to grocery shopping — it all leads to decision-fatigue).
You probably find yourself needing constant stimulation throughout the day — playing music while showering, listening to a podcast while cooking, always filling the silence. You rush through almost everything. You walk fast, work rapidly, eat quickly. As if slowing down is uncomfortable or even impossible.
1-on- 1 coaching traject
Other subtle signs can show up too: difficulty relaxing, trouble focusing, feeling restless or on edge, shallow breathing, disrupted sleep, or a sense that you’re never fully “off.”
These are not flaws — there’s nothing wrong with you. They are in fact very wise are signals. Your nervous system is asking for space, safety, and regulation.
During a session, I will guide you back to the root of the problem in your body. Where is this feeling coming from? What does it tell you? What emotions are underneath it?
Together, we will reveal what’s beneath this feeling and transform it into calm, clear, and tangible actions.
You’re not healing to be able to handle trauma. You’re used to that. You’re healing to be able to handle joy.

“Zo blij dat ik met Julie een traject ben aangegaan! Nog nooit ervaarde ik therapie/energiewerk dat zo verhelderend, liefdevol en tot de kern was als de sessies met Julie. Ik zie, hoor en voel me compleet anders. Het is alsof ik wakker ben geworden – Ik voel me veel meer in verbinding met mezelf. Het is ongelofelijk! ”

Personally this is the best therapy I had. The combination of talking and work with the body is really great approach for me, it helps me to get things out of my mind not only by logic, but also by feeling, so I feel very light after each session. Julie is very nice, calm and bright person, so I always feel a lot of support and good energy from her. Therapy feels very warm and safe, if I feel bad during the day, just thinking about having this safe space that she creates on our sessions makes me feel better.
